School opened!

Since the 2nd October 2017, the St. Ignatius school of Loyola parish in Nthalire has opened its doors for the first time. This secondary school for boys and girls started its educational program with approx. 150 students and three teachers. More teachers were announced.

Four of our members will take part in the official school opening on 30th October 2017 in Malawi, together with representatives of the Umckaloabo foundation. For several years we have been working together with this foundation and have established contact with our project partner. The school which received financial support by this and other foundations has been built during the last three years. Since our organization's funds are comparatively small in comparison, we can be proud of the contact mediation at this point, but we still managed to finance a teachers' house.

We are very happy that the school can now set off and that we are part of this achievement!
